This is was Riho-Esko says about his new piece called “Silent words“:
I have recently been interested in finding ways to combine sacred and secular texts, because they often seem to speak of the same thing. Vaiksed sõnad (“Silent words”) is an incantational work in which the otherworldly lyric poetry of Estonian theosophist Ernst Enno (1875-1934) is paired with religious texts.

The world premiere takes place on 24th October 2019 at Flagey in Brussels, in the framework of a programme of works of other Estonian composers.
