Within the ULYSSES Network, the two network partner institutions Opus XXI (Hamburg, DE) and Divertimento Ensemble (Milan, IT) have commissioned composers
Bertrand Plé (France, born in 1986) and Zeno Baldi (Italy, born in 1988) with two new pieces for conducted ensemble that will be performed in several concerts over 2017 and 2018.
Bertrand Plé’s new score “So oder so und so weiter” for voice, alto saxophone, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, harp, violin, viola, cello, double bass was premiered by participants of the Summer Academy Opus XXI on August 11th 2017, at the Bregenzer Festspiele (AT), and is performed again by Divertimento Ensemble and its conductor Sandro Gorli on March 29th, 2018, at Teatro Litta in Milan (IT).

Zeno Baldi’s new score for flute, clarinet, violin, cello, piano, percussion is premiered by Divertimento Ensemble and its conductor Sandro Gorli on May 8th, 2018, at Milan Conservatory (IT), and the rerun concert takes place within the activities of the international summer academy in Hamburg from 25th to 31st August.
